To return an item or to exchange it you need to contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
To do so you need to email us at email@example.com, explaining the reason why you would like to return the merchandise and letting us know whether you would like to receive a refund or to exchange the item. You will then receive an email confirming your collection arrangements. You will then need to send the unwanted item(s) back to us within the next 7 days. We undertake to arrange a collection from the country the item(s) was originally sent to within this period of time. Returns outside the timeframes specified above will not be accepted.
There is no charge to exchange items for a different size, however all exchanges are based on stock availability. Shipping is also free on the replacement item. Please note that we are only able to offer free size exchanges. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, you need to return it for a refund and purchase another item separately. Please note that if you are based outside of the EU, you will need to pay taxes and duties on your new delivery.

We require that all items be returned from the same country to which they were delivered. This ensures that your return is covered by our free returns policy and reaches us promptly. Orders sent back from a different destination may incur additional charges or be delayed by customs.

Your refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card and will include shipping costs for faulty items or for orders cancelled under the DSRs only. Shipping costs will not be refunded for items returned using our free collection service.
Please note that card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on its processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.
Items should be returned new, unused, and with all backroom-boutique.com and designer garment tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.
Where provided, any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and leather tags should be included with your return.
All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface until you are certain you are keeping them. Shoes should be returned unmarked and in their original, undamaged shoebox as this is considered part of the product. Shoes that are returned without a box, in a damaged box or with marked soles will not be accepted, and will be sent back to customers.
Lingerie & Swimwear:
Briefs, swimming costumes and bikini bottoms should be tried on over underwear, without removing the protective adhesive strip. Returns may not be accepted if this strip has been removed or if items are soiled, and may be sent back to customers.
Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on backroom-boutique.com. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be completely accurate.
